On Saturday, 31st July Sandeep, popularly known as gangster Kala Jathedi was captured by Delhi Police together with “lady don” Anuradha from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, according to a police officer.
Who is Kala Jathedi?
Kala Jatheri is a known criminal and a close associate of imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, according to Delhi Police. Kala Jatheri, who is said to have departed the nation, is the leader of the Bishnoi gang, which has ties to Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.

The dreaded Kala Jathedi gang has carried out 25 killings across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan in the previous ten months. His group arranged the escape of criminal Kuldeep Fajja from police custody while he was being treated at GTB Hospital on March 25. Fajja, on the other hand, was subsequently murdered by police in a shootout.
Kala Jathedi was also subjected to the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) by the Delhi Police. Culprits charged under the MCOCA face up to life in prison if convicted.
Escape and Rearrest
The gang was also involved in the release of mobster Kuldeep Fazza from GTB Hospital prison earlier this year. Fazza, on the other hand, was eventually neutralised by the police. In February 2020, Kala Jathedi escaped from police custody in Faridabad. The authorities were sure that he had departed the nation and was operating the gang from overseas. He was, however, apprehended while in hiding.
He was after Wrestler Sunil Kumar
Sunil Kumar was arrested earlier this year for the kidnapping and murder of a 23-year-old wrestler inside Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium. The name Kala Jathedi came up. According to the wrestler Sushil Kumar’s statement to the police after his arrest, he was on the run to avoid Kala Jatheri, who had threatened him with deadly results. In relation to the killing of wrestler Sagar Dhankar, the wrestler had earlier thrashed Jathedi’s cousin Sonu Mahal. As a result, Jathedi vowed to assassinate Sushil Kumar.
“Lady don” Anuradha
Anuradha was a close associate of Rajasthani criminal Anand Pal Singh, who was killed in a shootout. The Rajasthan Police has set a reward of ten thousand rupees for her apprehension. She was detained alongside Kala Jatheri.
On Friday, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police nabbed infamous criminal Kala Jathedi in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The wanted criminal has a bounty of Rs 7 lakh on his head after escaping from police custody in 2020.
The gang members utilised code language among themselves, according to the police investigation. Alpha was given to Kala Jathedi, Tiger was given to Kalrana, and Doctor was given to Goldie Brar.
By circulating rumours that he was overseas, Kala Jathedi attempted to deceive the authorities and members of rival gangs. However, the police were able to track him down after questioning a criminal called Nitish Kumar, who admitted that Kala Jathedi was hiding in Haryana. On Friday, the gangster was apprehended by Delhi police.

India’s Harnaaz Sandhu crowned Miss Universe 2021
Harnaaz Sandhu, a 21 year old from India, represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021 which was held at Eilat, Israel.
In 2000, Lara Dutta won the title of Miss Universe.
She was presented the crown by Andrea Meza, the former Miss Universe of 2020 from Mexico which was live-streamed all across the world.
The first runner up was from Paraguay and second runner up was from South Africa.

The proposal from the government which addresses the pending issues has been accepted by farmer unions and the farmer union will be meeting the government on Thursday (9th December 2021) at noon.

The farmer union, SKM (Samyukta Kisan Morcha) accepted the government proposal which addresses the pending issues of farmers.
It was on Tuesday (7th December 2021) when the central government sent the draft to the farmer union which is a five-member committee. Sources have indicated that once the final draft of the proposal agreed by both the parties is received by the union, the farmers’ protest which started on 26 November 2020 will end.
The issues listed in the draft were Surety on Minimum Support Price, withdrawal of the draft Electricity Amendments Bill, 2020/2021, withdrawal of criminal cases against the farmers, and also compensation for the families of farmers who died during the protest.
The SKM said that they will be meeting the government at Singhu Border on Thursday at noon to come up with a formal decision and later end the protest.
